Setup & Installation
Q: How do I set up the antenna for best reception?

Angle: Position the back of the antenna facing the transmission tower (see coverage map at myswitch.digitalready.gov.au).

Location: Place near a window for stronger signals.

Amplification: Use the dial on the amplifier. Some areas don’t need amplification—test with and without.

Q: How do I mount the antenna?

Choose a suitable spot near the TV or set-top box.

Mark holes (50mm apart) and drill (avoid cables/pipes).

Insert plugs, screw in screws leaving a 5mm gap.

Hang antenna.
👉 Hook-and-loop adhesive is only for desks or TVs, not for walls.

Usage
Q: Do I need to use the amplifier?
A: Only if the signal is weak. In strong signal areas, skip the amplifier for better results.
Q: Why are some channels missing?
A: You must rescan channels in your TV or set-top box menu after setup. Without rescanning, new channels won’t appear.
Q: Can I use this antenna outdoors?
A: No. It is designed strictly for indoor use only.
Troubleshooting
Q: What if reception is poor?
A:

Move antenna to different spots in the room.

Place near a window.

Rotate to face transmitter.

Adjust amplifier dial.

Test with and without the amplifier (too much amplification may distort strong signals).

If still poor, a rooftop antenna may be required.
